Rebirthing is a safe and powerful technique combining counselling / expanding conversation and breathwork.
‘Letting go’ of long-held, limiting beliefs can be profoundly
liberating, a sort of ‘rebirth’, which is where the practice gets
its name from. To free your breath is to free your life.
Rebirthing is recommended by Louise Hay in her bestsellers: 'You can heal your life', and 'I can do it'.

A series of sessions
A series of sessions combining counselling and breathwork. Each session lasts approximately two hours. The number of sessions is variable.
Focused discussion and a guided process using the breath.
Together we identify the specific concern you have and would like to address in the session. You are taught the rebirthing breath which you work with lying down. By breathing in this way, the body is radically oxygenated. This can re-awaken the body's dormant sensations, feelings, fears and incompletions that are stored in the cells (body and heart).
A supportive framework:
I provide support and safety for you to feel your feelings. In your own time I guide you to identify the specific self imposed limiting beliefs at the root of those feelings that come up. With this new awareness, the burden from the past dissolves and healing takes place.
Breathing
Our breathing affects the way we feel and vice versa. The way we feel, influences our behaviour and our attitudes. The way we inhale reflects the way we take life in. The way we exhale reflects the way we let go or not. Our breath mirrors our relationship with our world. The intention of "the conscious connected breath" is to create an open and relaxed relationship with breathing and so transforming our life. This specific breath has been used in kriya yoga for thousands of years.
The power of our thoughts and beliefs
Over the years and without really knowing it, we have made unconscious limiting decisions about ourselves. For example: "I am not good enough", "I can't", "life is a struggle", "why me?". We blame circumstances or others, leaving us powerless. We forget that WE made the decisions which became our beliefs. By becoming conscious that we are the thinkers of our thoughts, we can choose the beliefs that work for us and let go of the ones which do not. With this new responsible attitude, we learn to see opportunities we did not see before. We no longer feel a victim but in control of our life. 'Whatever you focus on expands', 'what you watch grows'.
The process is an adventure in self discovery. It need not be traumatic or dramatic. It is however, about allowing and honouring the thoughts and feelings which are present. The breath speeds up the integration of the new perspective.
